Hello, Yuya. It's nice to hear from you again. I hope that school is working out for you here. [England is a little leery at the idea of education at Cerealia. are the classes taught by robots? or CERES scientists? scary! ...actually, he will ask that] Do you like your teacher?
Unfortunately, in my world, dragons are close to nonexistent, at least nowadays. I see one every
few decadesnow and then, but they mostly keep to themselves. They are certainly not running around possessing people. I, myself, have not been able to summon a dragon, because it is a very clever beast. I'm not sure the dragons in my world would even allow themselves to be summoned to fight for humans. All the dragons I've met thought humans foolish and don't want anything to do with them.Did something happen? Did you see dragons here?
In regards to trapping souls in objects, what you are referring to is a binding spell. It's been a long time since I've seen one in practice, but I do know that people still try to do them, either to tie a person's soul to an object, or to bind two souls together for romantic or unsavoury purposes. Since I do not have my book of spells with me, I am not entirely certain of how to go about unbinding a soul. I know it depends on what the soul is tied to, but other than that, there are incantations and preparations that one must make, and I do not have them memorised.
...What are you up to?

We ended up dueling, and when we summoned our dragons the holograms started to act strange like they were calling out to each other. Then I got this weird feeling in my chest like I was being burned, and I think Yuto felt it too. There was another duel too where Yuto was battling another guy, but after I felt that pain again, their eyes started glowing and they were talking like they were possessed. They kept saying stuff like they were going to destroy everything and turn everything into ash.
I don't know if that sounds familiar, but I was talking to someone recently and I got to thinking that maybe there's some magic involved with Duel Monsters.
I haven't done anything though! I also remembered that Yuto said his city was attacked and people were turned into cards. So I was wondering if there's a way to undo that.
[Hahaha yes a children's card game that is secretly evil. Also-- 'romantic and unsavory'? Things will get really awkward when he eventually finds out that Yuto's soul is inside him. Oops.]

It does sound like some sort of magic is at play. I would have to learn more about this game in order to attempt at making a specific correlation between the two. It doesn't sound familiar to me at all, I'm sorry.
So you're saying you felt pain when you were watching this Yuto duel? I take it that this had never happened before?
no subject
It's okay. I'm just trying to figure out any sort of explanation. Rider said it sounded like ritual magic, so I thought that could be a clue. I don't know the history behind the game though, but I can still teach you the basic gameplay with my deck.
Yeah, that was the first time. I've played Odd-Eyes a ton of times and it never happened before, so it was really shocking. Like something was pulling at my chest and burning.
There were so many mysteries building up before I came here, and now I have to think about the worlds being destroyed. It's all confusing!

With what little knowledge I know, I believe you and Yuto unintentionally started some kind of ritual. Again, I don't know for sure, because I don't know about this card game. But that is what it sounds like from your description.

I wish Yuto was here. Maybe he would know more about what happened.

If we're talking about same-ness, Yuto and I almost look exactly alike. If I dyed my hair and styled it the same way, you probably wouldn't be able to tell us apart. It's not like we're related though. He's from a different world/dimension.
[.......Yes, he is clearly clueless about one big possibility.]
no subject
...Did you ever consider that this person, from another dimension, who looks like you, and has a similar name, may be an alternate version of you?
no subject
no way
[Can't even type full sentences.]
but we dont share the same parents and our dragons arent the same and his hair is purple and we just met
[YGO casts aren't allowed to pick out the obvious.]
DOESN'T ANOTHER DIMENSION JUST MEANS THAT IT'S THE SAME PLACE BUT DIFFERENT THINGS HAPPEN WITH DIFFERENT PEOPLE
[....Okay, kind of freaking out.]
THAT MEANS THERE'S 3 OTHER OF ME?but they cant be me because i would know if they're me becuase im me so we have to be different people he cant be me what happens if hes really gone does that mean i might disappear or die too i dont like this

Please, calm down. I'm not saying he is, only that it is a distinct possibility. That could explain why your chest began to hurt, or why your dragons started acting out when you met each other and battled. I still don't know enough about the game or your world to figure it all out.
If he really is a different version of you, then it is also possible that he has had a completely different life from you. His parents, his friends, his experiences, they could all be different, and those different things would mould him in a certain way, the same way your influences and experiences mould you.
no subject
ok ok ur right
Gotta keep an open mind that that might not be the case. [...]
Would it be more likely he's another me if I told you that we the guy he ended up losing to looked like us? Except with blue hair.
Or that his best friend supposedly looks almost exactly like my best friend?
[He's totally not helping himself.]
If Yuto and Yugo are different versions of me, what do I do?
no subject
This is a difficult question. Normally, alternative timelines should not intersect. I've read books about it happening, but they were works of fiction. In your world, things may be different. On the one hand, meeting these different versions of yourself could alter the future. On the other, maybe you all were supposed to meet to fix a problem.
no subject
I guess that's why I never figured he could be me. I thought this kind of stuff only happens in books and TV shows.
If we could get together without fighting or something bad happening, I think I'd be happy with that. I don't think I can really think of them as other versions me anyways.
no subject
Would you like to be friends with the others? Why do you fight?
no subject
Yeah definitely! We could all have fun together. Yuto seems like he needs to smile more too, so I would like to try to make him laugh.
Idk inter-dimensional warfare? I don't like to fight, but Yuto seemed to think Yugo was working with the Fusion dimension and Yugo had some beef with Yuto about stealing something important from him. That's basically all that I know. After their fight, I woke up here.

Though I do wish that I could help you. I still don't have enough information. It sounds like you don't, either.

Thanks though. Maybe I needed to vent. These things have been bothering me a lot.

Your world has magic, but nothing weird like this happens?
no subject
And the magic in my world is... Limited. There is not nearly enough of it.
no subject
Other than the stuff that's been happening to me, learning magic sounds cool.
