He's more confident in himself and being here and really it's like he's prepared to learn a lot more of what everything means in this kind of time compared to his own.

I was just wondering about something and how it differs to my time. For me or people from when I'm from, you get married because it's beneficial financially or pretty quickly.

What do people do now?

Nowadays, people don't get married that quickly. A lot of people date for several years before they even think about that. I think, in this day and age, less and less people get married altogether.

I don't know about that, a lot of people can't afford it. Though I think the meaning changed, didn't it?

Well in some it really is the same, especially when it comes to royalty. I mean Uther keeps trying to get Arthur to marry someone he chooses. He'll probably try again soon.

But in others it just seems shallow? Less about love and more about I don't know. Stability?

Is money really that important now? :(

For some people, it is. But not for everyone. I wouldn't call marriage shallow, either. I mean, I suppose it can be, but it varies from person to person.

Well I guess movies aren't the same as real life anyway, which is why I was asking how accurate it is.

Marriage is something humans do, so, no. I have been part of alliances, which is similar, but usually it is not our choice. It is our bosses who make the alliances.

But that does not mean that I don't think marriage can be beneficial. I think, if people marry for the right reasons, it can be incredibly beautiful and romantic.
