Uh. Hullo. This is Arthur Kirkland. Please leave a message. Or text. Or whatever...

For some people, it is. But not for everyone. I wouldn't call marriage shallow, either. I mean, I suppose it can be, but it varies from person to person.
no subject
I wasn't sure who to ask.
Have you ever...?

[HM]
Marriage is something humans do, so, no. I have been part of alliances, which is similar, but usually it is not our choice. It is our bosses who make the alliances.

That's kind of sad though... sorry :(

[let's be real, a marriage between him and someone else probably wouldn't last long. he has such stormy relationships with the other nations]
But that does not mean that I don't think marriage can be beneficial. I think, if people marry for the right reasons, it can be incredibly beautiful and romantic.
no subject
[ But he'll let that drop. And England that's because you can be so stormy... ]
That's how I imagine it. I think you should do it for love.
no subject
That's good. I think you should keep that ideal. As long as you find another person who believes the same way, I think things will turn out.
Ah, but that's not saying you should rush into marriage. As I mentioned, people take it a lot more slowly nowadays.
no subject
For now though... ]
Trust me, I don't plan on changing that. I don't know if they feel the same but it's still too early for that anyway.
I was just curious.

That said, it takes around 5 minutes of him sweating at his CereVice to reply. All he sends is her name though. Ah. ]
Athena Cykes.
no subject
Ah, she's been in Cerealia for quite a while, hasn't she? Probably as long as I have.
no subject
A really long time, yes. I met her when I first got here.
[ And they were courting like 2 weeks after... crazy tbh. ]
no subject
EVERYTHING IS FAST AND LOOSE IN CEREALIA]
I'm glad for you. It sounds like she makes you happy.
no subject
She does. She's teaching me a lot too, and I don't only mean about how things work now.
[ This sounds ... so wrong........... ]
no subject
What is. She teaching you?
no subject
I've learned a lot about myself? Kind of. I messed up but I fixed it. I think. We're working on it. Just relationship things I guess?
no subject
That's good. I think that is supposed to be what love is; you find someone, learn things about each other, and then compromise a little in order to strengthen your relationship.
no subject
Yeah, I'm still learning what makes her happy, makes her smile or laugh but also what to do when she's sad I guess?
[ And how to stop her blacking out when that happens... which he's very proud of himself for tbh. ]

I have one more question? [ sweats ]
no subject
no subject
She's already happy again but
I want to do more.
[ pls help him with ideas... ]
no subject
I suppose it depends on what you did to upset her. Can you tell me?
no subject
It's a bit complicated, is that okay? I mean it might be easier for me to say it.
